    Rebuilt 7MGTE revs high on start

    OK another thread on this, I know. The motor will start, and rev to about 2500-2600, then stops and drops to about 800....then goes up and again and drops again. I'm thinking it a big vacuum leak some where, or maybe a boost leak in the piping. Am I starting in the right area?
