Head Gasket reuse question

Just a quick question about reusing a head gasket. It hasn't been started on, just torqued down to 85 ft. lbs, using ARP head studs. It is a composite oem replacement gasket, so the question is, is it ok to remove the head from the block after its been torqued down. Then reuse it once I have some head work done, or should I get a new one?

Prolly going to need new. The material might come up or deform.

Not something to chance really. You could try it if you wanted tho if it looked good.

Ok thats all I need to hear, i'm probably going to go ahead and just get another OEM replacement from driftmotion.

Yeah, they only compress once.

ok true that, thanks. But I have decided to just leave it on. So no worries there. But with ARP's I torqued them to 85ft lbs. in sequence, thats correct, correct?
