I'm debating on which fuel pump to get and need help to decide which one is more reliable. First is the Walbro, second is the supra tt and third is the aem.
My plan is to only use the maf translator along with gm 3 bar to tune with along with the afpr.
Last night I revved to about 4 to 5 thousand rpm and slipped the clutch, car wouldn't launch like if I dropped the clutch. The smell came when I took it to 3rd gear so I stopped. Can it be my clutch on its way out?

I just finished putting my head back on the car, everything checked and started right up on the first try. Now my heat isn't blowing, it was working perfectly fine last time I drove it like 4 months ago. My temperature gauge isn't going up either. Anyone knows what's up?
While I was taking the lifters out with a magnet, the top plate came off of two lifters. Is that normal? I know they spin but didn't know if the top plates can come off.
So the machine shop shaved off too much. 18 thousandths on an inch. I will be using the stock head gasket "felpro" along with Aaron's ARP head studs and exhaust stud repair kit. Hopefully it last me through Spring until i finish my other head. I know I shouldn't do this but i need to get my car...
I'm going to start a small rebuild and I have 3 cylinder heads. I bought 2 engines for 100 bucks. now I need to know how can I tell if the heads been resurfaced? Hopefully someone can help answer my question. Thanks
Can that be signs of a blown head gasket? I took off the accordion hose along with the by pass valve and saw some coolant dripping out of the top part of the by pass valve.
ok, my problem is that i put a bit too much oil into my engine. why i did that was because by checking my oil dip stick, it showed that i was low on oil. yes it burns oil and i havent gotten to replacing the valve stem seals yet. but anyways, after i poured 2 quarts of oil in and i drove off...
is it possible to repair the waste gate on the ct26, i dont know what its called but its the little flap that opens or is it best to just get the thing upgraded?
is it a bad turbo or could it be something else? everytime i start up my car there is a rather large puff of smoke, its not blue. im thinking can it be because of a bad turbo that is burning oil, or could it be something else?:1zhelp:
I was wondering where to plug up the refill hose, does it go to the compressor or the condensor? both the plastic knobs that i unscrewed off doesnt say H or L on them. kinda hot to be driving with windows opens :D
ok i called the local dealer for calipers and they told me 500. wow... so i found a local guy with a parts out pre 89. so my question is, will the pre 89 front brake caliper fit my 91 supra?
