I was wondering where to plug up the refill hose, does it go to the compressor or the condensor? both the plastic knobs that i unscrewed off doesnt say H or L on them. kinda hot to be driving with windows opens :D

You are not qualified to deal with your A/C. There is a port on the high and low side for recovery and guage readings. Charging is done through the low side.

I've done it plenty of times before. the thing is, the plastic knob doesnt say if its hot or cold like most cars do

The low port is on the side of the compressor itself.
Is your system still R12, or has it been retrofitted to R134?
If it's still R-12, I'd say take it to a shop, as Nick M inferred.

If you have done a/c you would know that the low side is smaller than the high side....

Hvyman I have done them to hondas, corollas, acura and the tacoma. All had the L or C on the plastic knob. Only my. Supra doesn't say either so I didn't know where it goes. I just wanted to know before I attempted to do so. I believe mines was empty for quiet a while now so I rather take it to the shop to get it checked for leaks also. Again thanksgivings

^ Say what? ;)

Forgot r12 was the same size. Im used r134 on my car.

If you know how the system works tho you just need to follow the lines and see where they go to find out which port is which.

IDk then. Its been a long weekend.

Isnt there something different between r12 ports and r134? I know you cant use the hoses on both system.

Which other guy are you talking about?
Tyang just said he was going to a shop to service it, and I just just said he should.

Good point :)

I don't have a problem with him not knowing AC. The problem is him refusing to accept he doesn't know. That same attitude is what kept him from looking in the book to answer a simple question. Had he done that this thread wouldn't even exist...
