I went from a 7M to a small single 1J. The 1J car feels like a 90s single cam Civic until boost comes online. All the JZ cars I've been in have been the same story. If you don't mind that, its not bad. I've been strongly considering going back to a 7M ever since my first drive. Lol

Can you swap with a known good CPS? Are you absolutely 100% sure you installed it correctly? I had one a few years ago that was off a tooth but adjusted all the way to one side. Car idled and drove fine but would make zero/almost zero boost.

You should also bypass your neutral safety switch if you're grabbing something with an upgraded pressure plate. I'd do it either way personally but that's a judgement call. I will say the ACT does hold power. But for the cost and driveability difference, buy a twin disc if you need it to hold...

Weld a cast elbow on the compressor housing and you can run it down and away from the manifold. You can run pump gas on E85 rated pumps no problem but I don't think those injectors will be enough for 16PSI and that pump won't be enough for E85 boost. Car is gorgeous man! Good luck with the rest...

You got the timing cover decked with the block right? FIPG'd the top of it? You reused a 212k mile oil pump?

Beautiful car but numbers seem low? I would have expected 500+ with that much boost. Local made 400 on an old 60-1 and stock ECU/cams with no tuning. Car is substantially stronger on the 6266 at the same boost.

I've never had a stock clutch hold more than a stock CT. You are not making enough power to kill a Spec 3 nor is that at all what happened to your clutch.

Pedal pressure is crazy heavy because you put a crazy heavy pressure plate in it... Those flywheels are known to fuse.

CPS adjusted all the way to one side to get it to run? Maybe off a tooth. Double check. It will act as described and may not throw a code (didn't for me).
