Got some work done with the car.

Still have alot to do before startup but it´s getting there!

I need some help with my new Aem v.2 I bought the Driftmotion pnp unit. The car turns on the starter but won't start. I know everything else works because when I change for the original ecu it starts! I narrowed it down to the fact that I can't get "ign sync" to go "on" Anyone else had the same issue? Any thoughts? /Jerry

ive been havin starting problems since it got cold and its the ant theft unit. have to lock and unlock the passenger door multiple times. maybe a coincidense?

It might have something to do with the weather.. Last time I tried too start it was -4C.. Do you have a stock antitheft? Mine is an aftermarket alarm/antitheft system.

Fuelpump installation



Solved the Aem issue it was a mix of low battery voltage and setting ignition sync wizard with a timing light.

Right now it FFi install time, then downpipe then hopefully tuning!

Yes it´s partially installed, only need too modify the TB, change the throttlecable and mount the alternator to it´s new location.

I hope too have it up and running in a month.

Went to the Dyno the other day..

With stock pressureplate and 6-puck solid disc I managed to cram out 429whp and 505wNm at 23 psi. I did however have fuelcut at 5700 rpm.

Will fix boost solenoid to get a stable boost pressura and a new complete clutch assembly is on its way..

It moves!! :icon_bigg

Beautiful car but numbers seem low? I would have expected 500+ with that much boost. Local made 400 on an old 60-1 and stock ECU/cams with no tuning. Car is substantially stronger on the 6266 at the same boost.

I agree, it should make 500whp with 23-24 psi. I had fuelcut step in at 23 psi due to the boost solenoid being connect wrong and the wg was leaking ( fixed the leaking and it gave me an additional 4.5 psi on wg pressure (without boost controller)).
Solenoid is fixed now and a new clutch is on the way, so I should have some new numbers coming soon.. :)

Update!

Changed out my clutch for a new clutchmaster unit with lightened flywheel should be good for 500whp.

While the was down for the cluthjob I also did some other bits and pieces..



Istalled the Morganson COP setup, changed out my cambelt, changed my servo pump gear, painted the valve covers and harmonic balancer, removed the ac condenser and also shimmed the rear differential.. Everything up and running again!
