This stuff sounds good and is supposed to handle 300 C. read on another forum that people use it to seal their V12 BMW intakes instead of spending almost 800 for 4 new gaskets.
One of the customers 1J engines. The owner wasn't there so I don't know where the motor came from. It has a custom manifold that looks like it flows better than the old 1JZ CT-26 manifolds that driftmotion sold. Not sure what the pea shooter is though, need a ladder to see it better.
Had some issues with this motor after install.
Mods are 3 inch exhaust and 440's. I had 370's in there but still had the same problems where AFR's would go straight to 10 during full throttle within a few hundred RPM.
Motor is fully stock with stock twins. I think the 3 inch exhaust really threw...
Just swapped in a 1JZ from japan after pulling other 1JZ and am getting a hard code 13.
The engine will idle for maybe 5 seconds roughly then the code appears and the engine shuts down.
