Anyone use Reinzoil products before?

This stuff sounds good and is supposed to handle 300 C. read on another forum that people use it to seal their V12 BMW intakes instead of spending almost 800 for 4 new gaskets.

Are you trying to seal an oil pan or something else that is similar? My engine was assembled with a 3M product commonly known as Hondabond, I can't recall the exact 3M product number, but Toyota has a similar item, if not the exact same stuff.

I never had any issue with my oil pan leaking. I thought I did, but it turns out the guy who installed my clutch and flywheel failed to use any sort of Loctite on the flywheel bolt threads, for some reason. Made it appear that I had a rear main leak...

When my engine was rebuilt in 2014 I went with Toyota FIPG and so far no problems but the Reinzoil sounds like a better alternative for any future sealing, except for my turbo oil drain fitting that is leaking right now. I think that might get hotter than 300 in that area.

Siilcone is silicone. As long as it says 100% on the tube, you can use whatever you want. Even the clear stuff for bathrooms. It's the same 550-600F degree protection and performance, no matter which brand RTV you want to use. All marketing. Just like pistons.

There's nothing special about silicone, other than purity.
