Compression is solid 160 across all cylinders. The more I think about it the more I think the rad cap is the main culprit. Thanks for the suggestions though. I may do a coolant system pressure test if replacing the cap doesn't help.

Just installed new pacesetter monza cat-back exhaust system with high-flow 2.5" cat last night. Will post pics later. It fit well, looks subtle and sounds exactly as I wanted. Deep and tough with no drone, louder than stock but still quiet. :) For $240 shipped, no complaints! ;)

If you want to make 300, should be easy enough with a stock CT26 and will retain a nice wide efficiency range (power band). You *might* need to go to a slightly larger turbo. I'm sure there are some on here familiar with the upper limits of the CT26 that could chime in here. I'm just going by...

So your budget is cheap and yet you want to go twin? That kinda clashes...lol. And how much power do you want to make? Regardless, with a properly sized single turbo, you should be able to make whatever power you want (as long as it's reasonable) and not have to sit outside the turbo's...

On a turbo engine, the resonator's don't do a whole lot. not nearly as much of an effect as on an NA engine, where the resonator makes a HUGE difference. It essentially cuts down on droning/resonating and some higher-pitched tones. Loud is cool for the first 5 mins, then it becomes annoying...

When it comes to making serious extra power, you have to decide before hand if you want to go turbo or NA. Reason being is because some of the mods for either option are not exactly compatible. For example; Forced induction and high overlap cams do not work well together. Itb's and boost...

The only thing stopping me from doing that is money...lol. :P
