    Cars n Coffee Irvine

It was still raining so I was a little slow getting there, but 8:30 and most people were gone. Not a single supra. Drove all the way up to turn around and head right back. It may be great for locals but too short lived to drive an hour to. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

Oh, wow, that *is* early but I can suck it up to fill a generation gap...haven't been to a meet in years. :)

I guess I might, but this is the first I've seen of it. Is there a post somewhere with details?

Ben's 7M Lipp Boss Jr Build

Cheap Megan Racing intercooler for the moment. Have a nice vertical flow from Bell that I intend to mount with some custom piping, but I like before and after data sets.

Ben's 7M Lipp Boss Jr Build

For the sake of having a set of posted data for this turbo, I'll add mine. Compression ratio of my build is 8.9:1. Base timing set at 12. Lexus/550s. Stock FPR. AFR tuned to 11:1 Boss jr 60-1 @21psi

I think I gotta get in on this too..have kicked myself before for letting a good idea sit until it's no longer available. Moorman / Jason M. / Qty:1 / Undermount / tube & washers / 92009

first time at dyno! Im stoked! :D 391 rwhp at 15 lbs.

I'll be out visiting a friend and catching a Packers game. I find a visit to the tundra from time to time helps to keep a fresh perspective. Most SoCal locals go ape-shit if the weather gets inclement for more than 5 minutes, and trips like this are a good measure of how soft I'm getting ;)...

first time at dyno! Im stoked! :D 391 rwhp at 15 lbs.

I was loosely watching this thread and came here when I checked on it and saw that you bought the car. I don't see it listed, is the turbo still the Boss Jr 60-1? I'll be in Milwaukee Dec. 8th through 12th, want to meet up for a beer or two? I've got a Boss Jr 60-1 about to go into my new...

    niacin

THC is not water soluble, so you can drink all you want and you'll piss a lot but it won't help much. Each person is different; for some 2 weeks is enough, others I've known go a month and still fail. As stated, the point of Niacin is increasing circulation. Capillaries expand and can cause...

    Adj TPS

To get it out of the way, so both screws on the TPS are accessible with the tools on-hand. You could also remove the throttle body.

    9/11 Video (Loose Change)

 Agreed. I had to curtail my ATP path due to family financial crises, but aviation is still my 1st love. I'll be after a type rating in the L-39 myself this summer; assuming I can cap what has become a spiraling obession w/ the supra. I skipped the bulk of this thread to the last...

    tuning a safc-II

Brent is right, you can't eliminate backfiring w/ safc. Beyond that, you should not blindly adjust the afc, you need to utilize a wideband oxygen sensor, and your tuning should only apply to the high throttle settings. I don't recall Stillwater having any dynos nearby, so you'll most likely...

    3rd gear pull, rpm hump

I'll have to echo the clutch/traction response. One note though, is that unless you have an open diff, you should be able to feel wheelspin w/ the butt-meter. It could be either, but unless you have poor tires or were on a slick surface, I wouldn't expect 10psi to break traction in...

    Weighed my 88T yesterday...........

With all stock parts plus amp, sub, a small box of tools & 1/3rd tank of gas I weighed in at 3140lbs. Hooray for the Mk2. :D

Decided to go with Lexus afm

Dzjuggy has it right. Since you purchased the 550cc injectors to go with the Lex, you don't need the AFPR (Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator). All your fine-tuning will be done w/ the s-afc

    maftpro or lexus afm????

I don't understand this statement. Ignition is important, but typically not a problem with these mods. The priority is power, or at least mine is, and of course nobody wants damage. We know lowering the load signal (TPS + AFM) will advance timing, but this is only bad if it creates...

WOOHOO! We have the merging of points! :bigthumb: ...and agreed. Nobody's mad, we just lack the communication skills to make our points mesh. ;)

    maftpro or lexus afm????

No, that isn't what I'm saying at all, because AFR has nothing to do with fuel cut. My current AFR's are 11.5:1. The time I ran 23psi, AFR was 10.8:1. However, let's not turn this to a discussion on what can and can't be achieved w/ 440's. I was offering up a means to factually demonstrate...
