Although to our credit our cars had proper intercoolers.. as opposed to what most other car makers were doing at the time with their gaurd mounted kiddy IC's (r31's....)... but I must say the stock intake setup clutters everything up.
I agree! :biglaugh:
Honestly though that is one clean engine bay I'm in love! Inside and out the car looks amazing.
Quick question, with those thermo's does it help a lot? Worth it?
I had a similar issue, it looked all like that crystally-like but it was nothing terminal/major, as it would have leaked about 5-10mill of fluid every 1-2monts or so... but I replaced the heater valve unit with a brass configuration.
What I had wrong with mine is a crack in the unit where the...
Also when doing the MHG ensure that all fluid is properly drained... I think that's the biggest nono i've read about how people put on a metal head gasket but even the slightest contamination of water is enough to give them the BHG. be wise, patient and do it once, do it right. ;)
Hi All,
Need some input from those who know with regards to the following hose and whether it should be pushed more in or not?
It could either be a point that the hose isn't meant to go past, or a groove that the hose should sit within??
If you have GT5 Prologue it's worth every penny... I was playing it last night at my cuz's place and it's the perfect racing experience on any console.. Suzuka in a Aston DB9 online is the bomb... in the Pro PP600 event... you can't get any better experience than the H pattern and the clutch...
I really think you need to replace the heater tap... because I strongly believe the reason why there's a waterfall is... the hose from the block to the heater tap doesn't have coolant in it... but from the heater tap to the firewall it does...(I found this out when putting a brass elbow right...
Hey guys,
Simply as above... curious what it's primary role is.. as I've installed temporary brass plumbing in the location of the current heater tap, but I am still able to cool and heat the interior of the car... which sounds odd as if you have it bypassed it should always be heating...
What...
Thanks heaps Zumtizzle, im going to temporarily get an elbow bypass and research this Toytoa Corolla heater as it would save me over $300.... what still stuns me is the heater tap is made of plastic...??? for something that experiences high temperatures I just find that a little odd...
You're...
Hey Guys,
My Heater TAP is slightly fractured where if you don't have the heater on in the car it will leak small droplets over a day. I have been monitoring it and I did do a thorough inspection and it's not the hoses that are bust but the actual plastic DENSO heater tap itself.
I would like...
The mk3's are way cheaper in the states than in Aus, as here they are easily 10-15k for a MK3 that's in good condition.
It still amazes me though, you look at a Skyline (not a hater, I love R33 GTR's) but their interior is plain jane? so boring cheap looking, same with the 200SX's etc.. our...
I love the car too, I always said if I ever was going to respray one day it would be Gunmetal Grey / very similar to Aznboys... love the colour on our Supra's.
Congrats on your win.
