Mine guys was shitting me for over a year!!!! Because when we realised what was causing the problem don't know why never occured to me to look at the connector plug... I looked elsewhere along the wire and saw one that was cracked so I fixed that... then the starting problem was like once every...
All done guys, did some solid searching aswell and Jonathan in one post recommended hard wiring and i've done that with the right goods, she starts without fail and perfectly. If only default searching only searched Titles not posts... makes the world of a difference...
Yeah I know it looks obvious, what I need to do is fix two bad wirings which by previous unknown force have been torn kind of out of its socket placing... its still got wire in there but not all of it... so that's why I want to know if it's safe to re-wire without the socket bypassing it...
Hi All,
My wiring on the socket (that goes to the CPS) is giving me real pain as two of the 4 wires on the other end of the clip (furthest from the CPS don't seem to be in properly and I have trouble starting the car sometimes if the wiring isn't where it should be. Once started it's all good...
I'd love to know how it goes as soon when I'm changing my engine oil im going to give MT90 a go in the tranny as I don't know what's in it currently or when it was changed.
I've now fixed it all, I used to have with my car a HKS EVCIV that was faulty where it would always spike so when my mechanics put on the boost tee for dyno'ing they had left one hose untouched. Which in this case would've been the vacuum, as the hks unit needed 3 and two were used for the Boost...
Yeah I was hooking up the boostgauge myself. I am going ot be re-doing it now, just bought some adaptors for the hoses etc.. and I think the engine would be cooled down enough to be able to meddle around in there. :)
Cheers guys for all your replies!
Interesting... as the boost contrller was installed by my mechanic a while back when doing dyno pull so that's all fine... but i'll look at a different location for placing it, is there anywhere people generally plug it into before/around our throttle bodies? (3000pipe)
Actually that makes...
Hi Guys,
This might be a simple fix depending on where I placed it (which I believed to be correct) or a faulty Gauge.
I thought before I get around to install the three gauges in the single din slot above my stereo that i'm going to get my boost gauge working first as from when we set it on...
Interesting stuff guys, especially Nik's...:sarcasm: although with a digital dash I can't just change the boost gauge within unfortunately...
Yep I think i'll be doing that as they seem to have what i'm after locally atleast. :icon_bigg
Hi Guys,
I've just bought 3 Auto Gauge Smoke series gauges... and i'm prepping the fitment but I think I may have to hold off with just the boost gauge slotted in the din slot until I can find exactly what i'm after.
I have found this online.... only thing is I need to enquire if they'll...
Seen some great ideas guys, I had to put in my original tyre (which I think is the factory tyre spare untouched all 225 of her) as I haven't seen an Aus/JDM spec with flat rear carpet. Anywho here's mine;
This is my trunk as of current, took about 8 months to get it started as my neighbor's a...
Interesting topic about this thread, mine has a meaty shift / hard to sometimes get in if it's not warmed up, but since I wait 2-3minutes for idle it's been perfect ever since, guess cold gearboxes dont like to be messed with.
I do heel'and'toe almost everytime it's just habitual.... and I...
Not just that IJ, I find it funny how people can say the Veyron wasn't built for the strip when it can beat a McLaren F1 in acceleration from 200km/h to 300km/h while it goes from 0km/h - 300km/h...
The Veyron as spoken by the team @ Top Gear is the only car they have ever driven able to do...
