Wild question but could it be your rocker cover bolts not tightened properly and it seeping out the side? Give them a check as I noticed mine were loose recently a little so I immediately tightened them up.

Please make sure when lowering your car that the back is at least 1/2 an inch lower than the front. That way it looks like its lauching... which true RWD cars can do!
