And what wonder is that? If your's burns a lot of oil it is likely your fault.

    Article: What is Fuel Cut?

Reread the article. "Boost cut" as you call it is when an overboost condition occurs and fuel is shut off. Fuel is shut off by the ECU for more than one reason, not just over boost.

    Tires

I went with the Dunlop, funny you should say that. Their rating is 340, which means it lasts 3.4 times longer than a Dunlop track tire. Continental was interesting. They are not OEM on exotics because they suck. They have to work, and I was thinking they might be quiet. But the Dunlop was priced...

    Auto tranny help

If solenoid number 1 fails, number 2 turns on holding drive. Until you unplug the range selector like you did. Make sure you didn't damage a wire in the harness when doing the engine swap.

I would add to reputation if the forum was set up to do so.

    Summer Maintenance. What to do?

You know, they made some money for us. One customer came in after going to either them or grease monkey. It has been that long I don't remember. They broke the case by overtightening the drain plug. Impact on an aluminum transfer case? I have no idea. But thank$.

have new dual eletric fans need help hooking up

That is an axuillary fan for higher than normal temps, such as Phoenix, or A/C in summer with slow moving traffic. It turns on by high pressure in the A/C system. If you have an A340E trans, then you have a third fan that comes on with high temps.

Oil System chacteristics after Jdub's Oil System Upgrade

Interesting about the GC. Maybe it is more like a 0-40 than a 0-30. Pressure doesn't go up when resistance goes down. Just like Ohm's law.

    Tires

What are you using, what do you like, what did you not like? I haven't bought new tires of this kind in some time. The category is high performance, non all season. No track tires, I plan on driving them for several summers. I was thinking of this Bridgestone, but am worried if it can get 15k...

    Yet another alternator charging issue.

On mine, the stud for the rectifier bridge was corroded. So it would intermintently not charge. I could wiggle the cable and voltage would waver from B+ to 14.1. I bought a new ND rectifier and brushes. And your light doesn't come on randomly. It comes on purposefully, you have to figure out why.

    Overheating issues

Knowing how you like to tinker and over analyze, go read up on the ideal gas law. It covers several things related to pressure, temp, and volume.

    Idle problem

Their cars weren't "supramania'd". I don't think it should take 15 minutes to relearn the idle speed position. Unless there is something wrong with the car.

    Lexus maf + 100ll

This stuff. I can't comment on aviation grade fuel. But I can comment on lead. That is what "leaded gas" was up until the early 80's. It isn't legal for use in cars because it puts lead on the side of the road. And it damages catalytic converters. You are much better off with gas that has a...

The larger meter produces a slower wake(vortex). That in turn results in a slower frequency at the same airflow levels. That is why you want the bigger injectors. To correct the miscalculation by the TCCS.

    EFI Fuse repeatedly blowing....HELP !!

You can also put a test light between the ground cable and terminal. When the light goes out, you found the short. Remove the fuses one at a time to narrow the circuit.

MT vs. AT ECU's on GTE

You will only have a problem if you go the other way. The engine ECU supplies information to the trans ECU on the A340E.

    Yet another alternator charging issue.

Either the alternator is defective, or the belt is loose. That is assuming your wiring is kosher as you have declared. If the belt was a little loose, the lights would come on when acclerating.

The Luxocruiser 3650 lb sled thread

I don't know. I took it to a local hose maker and he didn't think so. I was going to have him make another if I couldn't get what I wanted from SS. He said a hose like that should be no problem. More like just a random defect.
