Technically, I did 29.9 mpg at 75 or so. Get yourself an A340E and 3.73's today. And fix all your tuning issues you created by trimming the airflow signal. Well, you have to do it a little. Yes, 29.9 mpg. I wonder what it would do at 65 mph...
I like the Dunlop. I think they are an underrated tire manufacturer. They are rather quiet for being sticky. To be fair, the H rated all seasons on it were garbage. I knew it 6 years ago when I bought the car. I just never got around to dumping them. I didn't want to drive to Vegas and back on...
Your question was borderline dumb. But maybe he didn't need to mock you so quick. If you go to the dyno section, you can see the power output and combination.
Full weight in 1987 for a 7MGE and a 1992 7MGTE are not the same. You got a build thread? I thought about doing a turbo 7MGE a long time ago, and never did. You have the original 4.30:1 rear end also?
I know this is very "riceish" but the tires look better. And it makes the stance look better. I installed an Alpine today. That makes me want to go get a small amp like the factory unit that isn't there.
Thanks.
Only a few mods left, but pricey. I am going to change the crummy 19 year old intercooler and hoses. And I really want to pick up that IPT Trans and valve body. With a torque converter, that will run about 4 grand. Fuel cut isn't worked out yet, nor is a tune which will not be...
I "street tuned" my Greddy Profec b spec 2. The Greddy manual is straight forward. I found a tuning guide from the DSM crowd online about safe baseline and went from there. I put it at 30%, and it was barely above the stock wastegate actuator. At 40% it went to about 12 psi. At 50 % it is about...
You read posts about delinquent owners who blame their problems on the car. You read threads about "what can I get rid of", then threads about "why doesn't it run right". I guess that would be how do I know I read Supramania, not how I do I know I own a Supra.
The manual transmission has a solid link to the engine, which creates a heavier load. The automatic has a fluid coupling which slips, and does not transfer as much of a load to the engine.
Nope. That is the same thing. It ensures you won't have to pull the trans and do any sort of a tear down. You would actually pull the pan after doing pressure test first, but you can't be certain even with the band and clutch chart what is wrong. Unless you don't have reverse and everything else...
I have never heard a ticking exhast leak on a Toyota. Since it is being brougt up. They make a put-put-put noise that I hear. Most of those were from donut gaskets that are old.
