    Swearing is good you can run 4>5 into one long word :D Sort of lucky the extensions broke as the Bolt is necked down under the head and can fail :( This is a BAD thing if it happens.

    Personally I wouldn't use it as is, the pitting is in the danger area where these motors fail.

    Use good quality tools and NO rattle gun..... Leverage is king.

    Just need to shorten the bolts 2mm (A thicker washer would work as well) I didn't have to recess the cover bolts at all. Freaked me out badly when I fitted these with my brand new head with Ferrea Valves turned the engine and it locked solid (thought I'd hit a piston with the bigger Cams)

    -6 in and -8 out from memory. I run a pair of these. With a drilled J Tube the stock FPR might handle it ok.

    Next time you go out find a big hill when the car isn't too hot and go down the hill throttle off/engine braking, watch the mirror for smoke. I'm not sure that temp/time would affect it but maybe it's easier to see once the full exhaust has heat soaked. The Turbo check is to see if it has...

    The "whine" is from straight cut gears and not the Dog engagement.
