    They're variable Dave. For each psi above the spring they open x amount. This is how an EBC can make a difference to spool as it holds the gate shut until the set pressure.

    Yep at small throttle openings you need it lean for cruise economy but with modern turbo's you can go into boost very easily so it's a bit of a trade off. I have my TC set to unlock under these conditions so it can't rattle the motor.

    Sounds about normal Justin and this IS a danger zone with turbo cars as you can end up with pretty bad detonation under these conditions. (this is where the standard EGR delete can ofter push a heathy engine to commit hari kari)

    One thing to keep in mind an upgraded CT is a grenade if start pushing it hard the Boss isn't.

    No reason why you can't do a Comp test with it out. Just need a bellhousing and starter and a battery.
