Ya you have to manually set the timing by turning the cps with a timing light. There is no spot to just bolt it up and go.

Those might loosen up. Personally i would just use stock nuts and studs.

Get a volt meter and check the voltage output of the alternator. Takes less than 30sec to test.

IIrc there is a clip to hold it in at the bottom of the firewall and its supposed to go behind a heat shield right there as well. Should have 3 places its held against the body iirc.

Is the cable properly routed? Shouldn't be melting cables.

Do you have a LSD? And is it in good work order ?

Dont have to change the pistons there just not as durable as the gte ones. You can boost them fine but i wouldnt be shooting 500hp on them.

What kind of hg? No 6 is 1 of the most common cylinders for a bhg. Can also do a leak down test to see whether its rings/hg/ or valves.

Change the hg to a tt head gasket to lower the compression and its will be safer and more reliable to turbo.

^ thats more of a "should i replace my fuel filter?" kinda thing. If your channing the lines from tank to rail you can use inline filters. But iirc stock fuel lines are about the size of -6an hose which is 3/8th hose.

You will have to put a smaller shim in and then add or subtract the amount needed to get within spec. You can try playing musical shims until you get a gap to measure or go buy the smallest shim and do each one at a time. Considering new ones are like 5-7$

The bearing is attached to the pressure plate with snap rings. The hub that the fork sits on is also attached to that. The bearing spins and the hub does not.

The base tune is just to get you to the dyno. Not meant for much past that.
