Ya the res is supposed to be filled to the full mark. The rad cap will suck fluid in and out depending on temp. So instead your just sucking air into the system. All cars have a res system for this reason.

It means that your resivour is low or the sensor is stuck or bad.

ecu power wires are black with red, black with orange, and black with yellow. Those are the main power wires. There b+, M-rel, and BATT. They will be on the ecu connectors and go from the fuse box to the ecu. Also make sure the grounds on the intake manifold are good and tight.

No clue. Never seen one. But id imagine they are the same plugs with just a couple missing wires in the harness and different tune.

If its routed like stock then most likely yes. Jdm harness are shorter and would require extending which is not normally worth it with a 7m.
