    Eh thats kind apples to oranges. Rx8 is a newer, slower, uglier version of the rx7.

    Prolly just needs a new valve guide. Can port polish while everything is off. How did that get in there?

    No an oil pressure tester gauge. There is a test gauge for checking oil pressure. Much more accurate than a cheap gauge. Need to find out what the actual oil pressure is and then go from there.

    When I had eibach and bilstiens the perches were iirc on the highest spot in the front and the lowest in the rear. If you want adjustability get coils if you want good shocks bilstiens are great. Other are too as well.

    what kind of gauge? Have you checked your oil pressure with an actual oil pressure tester gauge?

    I have no problems in Cali but I don't drive crazy and my cars not loud and obnoxious. 1j are like 800-1000 cheaper for the motor. That's the only difference between the swaps.

    That sucks. Maybe see if you can get one machined out of billet or something? Might not be too pricey.

    Its not too hard depending on your mechanical knowledge.? Dont have to notify dmv, but the 1j is not a legally swappable motor so smog might be an issue. The 2j can be but has to have all emission equipment and be all stock and then you have to pay money for it to be bar'd and legal.

    Iirc thats the general area you have to grind. Use bolts instead of studs and put the lines on first and then bolt on the ps bracket.

    You could do that. Are you running stock ge head gasket? The gte hg will lower the compression ratio allowing for more boost. What are you tuning with?

    You also need to degree the cams and set them in the right place. Just throwing in cams is not going to work.
