This manifold barely has the turbo moved forward, maybe half an inch. The flange is pushed away from the engine more than anything which allows for a bigger compressor housing without a spacer. Also, in the picture 3rd from the end, it looks as if they have the compressor touching the manifold...
If you're going to do it, do the whole car.
It will help some with the drone and vibrating, what exhaust are you running? My DM full exhaust is pretty cheap and doesn't rattle my car apart at cruising speeds.
It is the same one, driftmotion one has been tweaked a little bit for better fitment inside the engine bay. It's also half the price.
This is undivided whereas driftmotion is divided.
Bosch recirc could handle 12 PSI. 15 PSI is getting close to the point where it starts to creep open.
Mine handled 12-13 PSI but started to 'moo' at 16 PSI.
I know this is like comparing apples to oranges but I'm looking for some technical data and prices. I do love the fun of driving a manual, I find it relaxing when you're out for a cruise and just listening to the engine but I also like the fact you can preload the drivetrain with an auto from a...
Summit and Jegs have always given me amazing customer service. If one of your parts doesn't meet your standards, give them a call and more than likely they will send you a new one.
I ordered an Earls -10 AN fitting from them and the thread was extremely loose so I called and requested another...
Do yourself a favor, go easy on the engine for 500 miles then retorque everything you can get a socket/wrench on.
I did this and found more loose bolts than I liked, engine mount bolts were getting loose along with 2 bolts on the transmission brace. After this, I double checked EVERYTHING I could.
300 with this engine is easy, this can be achieved by
a healthy CT26 on 12-13 PSI(Just below fuel cut)
full 3" exhaust from the turbo back
Apexi air intake filter
Bigger intercooler and hard pipe, most of us run 2.5" hard pipe
Now, this might come as very few parts to bolt on and get...
I'd be interested to sell my accordian pipe after I go t4.
If you go BBK, I'd replace the vacuum booster and master cylinders along with running new brake lines. Makes the list a little longer but you won't have to worry about your brakes for a good while.
What is your oil pressure when the engine is warm? What is the oil pressure when the engine is cold? You might need to run a thinner oil or a more cold weather friendly oil.
