Proper torque for the nuts on the block side of of the turbo oil pipe?

For the size of the stud/nut, I'd only do 9 ft lbs. 25 ft lbs and you might need to pull the stud.

Pre 89 and post 89 are two different animals. Try getting one for your specific year and installing it then calibrating it.

Hello everyone. Introduction and a Thank You!

I believe your R-134 transmission is a typo of R154, welcome to the community. A 2j with a R154 makes for a fun combo in these cars. When it comes to asking questions about the swap or the car, remember to try and search a little bit because the answer might be already out there. Something I...

    morganson's COP S-Type setup

Oh, believe me, I thank you for all the work put into this. Including all the R&D done for making sure everything works like it should. I'm not trying to bash your work in any way shape or form, merely trying to get some numbers to see how this setup would do compared to the IS300/1zz COP setups...

    New guy from MD.

Nope, I'm running a walbro 400 with lex afm and 560cc injectors from a evo. You just have to play with the AFPR and the lex air bypass screw to keep the vF signal happy. The reason the lex afm/550 goes so well together is because they are 25% bigger than the stock component, most say a SAFC is...

    morganson's COP S-Type setup

The reason I tossed the 1zz COP setup in there is because most people who are worried about spark blowout are already planning on running a aftermarket EMS. I'm just looking for some numbers to weigh the benefits of changing to a COP setup that might be experiencing spark blowout at later stages.

    morganson's COP S-Type setup

I hate to be 'that' guy but what turbo are you running? Looks like a ct26 with a polished housing. My stock coils in good condition don't experience spark blowout at 18 PSI. How does this set compare to the spark output of say a 1zz COP setup? Could we see spark output difference compared to...

    1986.5 7mge -> 2jzge my very first build.

Let us know how the yellows feel, I was just looking at buying a set. I want full subframe bushings and control arm bushings so I can swap over all my new suspension stuff at one shot.

    Holset HX35

its just another surface to try and seal, not to mention the t3 manifold needs a 3" vband welded on for me.

do you have the bushings on top the injector? not only do tthey provide a good seal on the bottom but they also set the height inside the rail.

    Engine Pic Request

How's this for carnage? All this junk was found in the baffles of my oil pan. And some more PO carnage and cluttered engine bay. Look at all the spacers the guy had on that poor CT26, it was stock size too. Plus there was some kind of ghetto rigged MBC with pipe fittings and some other...

Recommended E85 fuel setup for something around 600ish whp

I know my walbro 400 isn't E85 safe, so you'll need the new e85 safe walbros. PTFE I believe is E85 safe fuel lines. You can buy a fuel rail from Albert with 2 feeds and a return from the CSI. IIRC he tig welded the fittings on.

    Holset HX35

    I actually would love to trade by 7 blade hx35 for a 6 blade hx40, I don't want to run the t3 adapter on my t4 manifold. I can't find many dyno's on a holset bolted to a 7m.

    fuel and vacuum troubleshoot

It's able to maintain the pressure because like 3p said, there's no demand on the system. That's why when the engine is running, you're getting shit for fuel pressure. I've said this in post #13, you're getting a fuel problem. What voltage are you getting at the fuel pump? You've bypassed the...
