If you have an aftermarket radiator like I do (koyo),
It has a threaded port do you can install a temperature switch that you can wire up as a fan controller
And it will provide a ground for the fan relays at whatever temp you select. I'm using it as an aux fan to my condensor when the AC is on.

I ordered through my local store here in kuwait and took about 3 weeks for 2 complete sets for the stock twins. I upgraded them to steel wheels.
The r154 came with the 1j on the jza70 supra and on some soarers (sc300). You can probably source from a jdm supplier or check the classified section here for just the bellhousing and flywheel.
I upgraded the stock twins for a price of 550 apiece add to that around 150 for shipping and insurance so roughly 1250 cash. To go single you have probably more expense but way more power gain.
I wasn't there. I had a mechanic do the work. I'll try this weekend and plug in another ecu if it doesn't start.
The high boost was from a leak in the blow off valve hose btw.
the injectors are grey and are the part number for the aristos. Car cranks and doesn't start. The mechanic said the iinjectors weren't working. Put in the old ones and they work.
I just had my upgraded steel wheeled ct-12a twins installed with a set of aristo 440's and the car wouldn't start. The injectors don't pulse. Put old stock injectors in and it fired right up. The 440's each read 13.8 ohms and the stockers are 16.7. Do you need a resistor pack for 3 ohms? They...
Try running without the thermostat and if the flow is good then the water pump is working. The thermostat sounds like its not opening and you might have clogs in the rad. You might want to do a power flush too. For sure get the rad fixed and rodded out and run with an oem thermostat.
Im not sure about the boost getting lower with a free flowing exhaust but if you are getting overcome by exhaust fumes then your liftback seal might need replacing. A small tear will allow fumes in.
I added an FCD an AEM wideband and a manual boost control. Stock cut was around 14psi, after FCD Im running past that and with the wideband did a test run with the boost up to 20 and the stock injectors were putting out around 12 AFR so I have it running around 17 now. Gonna put some steel...
Like who did it?
You need to connect the wires back the way they were and do it like this.
I attatched 3 pics. the directions, a relay and the harness that goes with it.
If you need more info, PM me.
Hello, I have an upgraded set of stock twins with steel wheels that I am going to install shortly after I solve a boost problem. I have a manual boost controller that will get me up to max 14 psi and no higher because of the wastegates. With the hose off to it I can get over 20 PSI (short test...
I did this mod here http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?76403-Car-not-starting-randomly-READ-THIS-(30-Amp-Starter-Relay-Mod) and havn't had a problem scince. It worked when I was N/A and 1J. I tried not using it after the swap but had the same issue so it went back in.
I talked to Aaron and toyota. Aaron says they are special order from japan and can't help with that, the local toyota store says the numbers I gave them are good but have never ordered them. Im trying to get the oil gaskets, turbo to exhaust, water and elbow gaskets. From all the posts ive read...
Does anyone know where I can get the gasket set for the stock twins? I just had a set upgraded with steel wheels and just need gaskets to do the swap.
Thanx
Hi,
My vacuum modulator broke and I can't get any info on what this does, circled in black that goes to the rear turbo intake pipe. Right now I'm just running a straight hose. The little plastic valve is what broke. I looked on the 2J parts list and didn't find anything like it. Ignore the red...
