Freon is a gas and will go into the atmosphere not a drain pan. You are supposed to have a shop evacuate the system to prevent this, they use a vacuum machine to suck the gas out. R12 is the ozone layer destroyer.
If you ran R134 you can let it escape but I would recommend having a shop do it...
The hydrofan must be used with the hydrofan shroud but will bolt to the regular radiator. The hole in the shroud is in the center for the hydrofan and its off center to the right (passenger side) for the water pump fan.
I didn't install mine because when the motor was shipped with "everything"...
My car did something similar in that it would start, run for a few seconds and then shut off. The cause was when I closed my hood, the aftermarket hood strut disconnected, extended all the way and jammed into the fuel pump relay on the inner passenger side fender and disconnected the small 2...
I used the 7MGTE tach in my NA cluster and it didn't work. I installed the turbo cluster in with the GTE tach and it did. I didn't try the resistor mod which is explained here.

My NA cluster didn't work so I needed the turbo cluster from my swap car on the failed 7MGTE swap (cracked block). I also took the old boost guage out and installed my batt indicator from the NA cluster and wired it in.
Do you know a good driveshaft shop that can re-balance the new unit. If you start swapping out halves you will have to have it balanced or you will have bad vibes at 60 mph plus or thereabouts. They are balanced at the factory as a unit and mixing halves with different weights isn't a good idea...
I plan on upgrading mine to steel wheels when I go on vacation in December and bringing them back in my suitcase in January. The two places Im looking at are:

I just want to up my boost to 15 or 16 and not...
02 sensors? depending on what it came out of it will have a minimum of 2, or 3 for higher years for a dual exhaust. The Supra 7MGE had one except california which had a cat sensor. If your running with less than the ECU is supposed to have it will run rich, or if they are old and worn out. A...
This list is for the JZA70 2 row Supra ECU but the cars listed might have what you need somewhere else on them.

ok, the 1J engine harness doesn't have a B3 connector, the B3 should be on the MA70 chassis and the wires splice into the IH2 of the 1J. When I did my swap I didn't use the wires because I don't have ABS or PPS. I can't find any info on the ID of that plug either.
I just took out my glovebox...
What are you trying to wire up? That plug looks like its in the engine bay but its too much of a close up to tell where. B3 is under the dash by the ECU.
Remember that the ECU pinout is looking directly at the ECU and when looking at the plug it matches by looking at it from the back. The E1 for example is brown, look at the plug and see if the bottom left looking at the back of the plug is brown.
the NSW wire needs to be connected, its power when you turn on the key to crank the motor.
+B1 and +B are jumpered together outside the ECU and share the same power source.
E1 is a ground and should be connected.
Don't know about the other pins.
Yes I know about the rows, I was asking if My harness will hook up to a soarer or chaser.
I took it for an hour drive after work from 2:15 to 3:15 Am when the temp outside was only 95 and it didn't burn oil. Ill try again at around noon when it will be closer to 120 and see what happens.
Well looks like Ill be doing another swap. My 1J overheated when I left it idling outside a shop for less than 10 minutes then the next day it burned oil when I arrived at work. It had oil smoke coming from the exhaust. Going home that night it was fine but the temp outside was only around 100...
You will probably have to change the oil pick up and baffle plate too. Driftmotion shows the kit details.
