oil pump drive gear wont fit!!!

Hmm... I don't know if that was the best idea... I'm not an expert but i have a feeling that will leave scratches on it, personally I wouldn't do it, not to mention you are just guessing on the clearances

Oil Leak - #3 Valve Cover?

If it's leaking from the engine, and coming out where it meets the bellhousing, your rear main seal is probably what is leaking

    Jaguar_5's 87 Turbo Build

Work has begun on getting the hatch area stripped and painted, as well as the hood I don't have that much paint left from when I did my engine bay, so I'm hoping to have enough to paint all the visible hatch sills, and the hood. The other areas, such as the taillight area and spare wheel well...

    R154 storage?

Honestly, if it's only a few months, i stored mine for like 2 years, 'dry' but not completely, I stood it on the bellhousing, covered the rear seal and shifter hole, and that's it... 2 years later I degreased it replaced the seal and installed it... I haven't ran the car yet but I don't have a...

need help wiring my temp guage!

Ha, even if it wasn't anodized, it's not like it has a ground path when it's only connected to a radiator hose Btw, the cost of a new coolant hose, will outweigh the cost of just getting the bushing and doing it right the first time ;)

need help wiring my temp guage!

I believe the red housing is anodized, and that means it's non-conductive iirc, you would need to run a ground wire from a conductive point on the body of the sensor Or just do it right, get a bushing, and install it pre-thermostat

need help wiring my temp guage!

There are two different sensors, one for the regular series one for the premium series Usually sensors with only 1 wire are grounded from it's surroundings, ie whatever is is installed to... Is there only one terminal on the sensor? If so I'm not sure how it would get a ground being spliced...

need help wiring my temp guage!

That is strange... Either it wasn't hot enough to register, the wiring is bad, or the gauge or sender are faulty Are you POSITIVE the sensor wire is secured correctly and all the way, making good contact? Double check even if you are. lol I know that doesn't narrow it down much, but it's...

need help wiring my temp guage!

Did you drop the entire sensor in the water? Probably only safe for the thermocouple to be immersed... Are you sure all the connections on the gauge are correct and fully secured?

    As Requested: MaftPro Install writeup

I'm not sure why you'd want to run those wires to the stock o2 sensor, you can program the second output to emulate the narrowband o2 and feed that signal to the ecu, replacing the stock o2's signal Do you need to hook up the LC-1 to the MAFT Pro? No, but to get all the functionality and...
