It's too darned hot. Can I put A/C back in my car?

Well assuming nothing from the interior has been gutted, you will need a AC compressor, AC condenser and dryer, the hard lines (one with 2 sensors) along the fender to the condenser / dryer assembly, then the 2 flexible hoses to the compressor Everything else should be plug and play, you'll...

    So Heres The Story Guys....

Hmmm that seems like a pretty big difference in the compression numbers to me From 200 to 155? Was the engine warmed up? Did you try to add a tiny bit of oil too and see how it affects your numbers? Don't know much about the 1J's... but sounds like your oil pressure sender might be...

    Jaguar_5's 87 Turbo Build

So I've been having problems on my daily driver, i found out the TPS is garbage, my spark plug valley was filled with oil, and the bolt to my distributor almost fell out. After shop-vaccing out all the oil, changing plugs, and diagnosing my TPS, it was too bright to set the timing and I...

A few more updates to my todo list, having a bit of an issue with one of my prosport gauges, which isn't allowing me to daisy chain it to the other gauges... I contacted them and will hopefully get a replacement And I found out my electric drivers seat won't move backwards... only forwards...

    aftermarket gauges in gauge cluster

Hmmm i don't remember what thread I saw it on, but within the past few days someone posted a picture of their dash with prosport peak/warning gauges installed (was it the guy who got the new suede interior done recently?) and he drilled a hole in the gauge cover and inserted grommets, it looked...

Anyone have a picture of a properly installed battery hold down???????

I had that battery box on my 87 NA that never came with a battery tie down or anything, needless to say it got completely chewed up, and now my battery "tie-down" now consists of 2 royal purple bottles wedged on either side of the battery (rad and fender sides) lmao Pathetic, I know, but it...

Replaced master cylinder; trouble with bleeding.

Well if you're losing brake fluid out of that connection, sounds like you already know where your leak is. Could be too loose, could be too tight and maybe the flare got damaged (these fittings don't need any sealant) Just my .02

REIGN's REBUILD! Its a beautiful thing... (THAT IS FOR SALE) =(

So now that your garage is clean, when are you going to get some work done on your car?! It's not like you have that much left to do :) You can't let me get my car running before you!! :biglaugh:

    Oil Cooler yes or no?

The B&M oil coolers are a very efficient design, and iirc are supposed to be zero pressure-loss I wouldn't do it unless you remove the entire stock circuit and switch to a thermostatically controlled setup, that being said, if you do it this way and do it RIGHT, i can't see any way it would...

    Jaguar_5's 87 Turbo Build

Today I got random things done here and there, mostly I worked on my gauges and they are basically complete! Just need to mount and connect the boost sensor (which will involve extending the harness, I've already extended every gauges sensor and power harness) Also got all of my heater hoses...

Safe to run harness off of battery charger?

My ECU isn't plugged in... I'll just run some jumper cables from another car or something Thats the kind of response i was looking for, thanks! So does this mean when using a battery charger you should disconnect it from the car first? Or as long as everything is turned off it's ok?

Safe to run harness off of battery charger?

lol I'll definitely be waiting until I have a battery before I try and start the engine :biglaugh:

    Supra Transmission Fluid Change

My transmission oil was sitting for years, it was nasty, I let it drain FULLY, poured a little bit of old (but still new in bottle) cheap gear oil to 'rinse' some of the old crap out, let it drain some more, and then fill it with the MT90 and you're good There is no filter in our M/T's

Safe to run harness off of battery charger?

But if it does run it will be ok? If I risk running any damage I'll just wait until I'm ready to buy a battery

Safe to run harness off of battery charger?

I have abit of a weird question... Is it ok to use the output of a low amperage battery charger connected to the positive of the main body harness (where it would be connected to positive from the battery obviously) and the negative to a chassis ground, just so I can test out my gauges, and...
