Well if you're losing brake fluid out of that connection, sounds like you already know where your leak is. Could be too loose, could be too tight and maybe the flare got damaged (these fittings don't need any sealant) Just my .02

The B&M oil coolers are a very efficient design, and iirc are supposed to be zero pressure-loss I wouldn't do it unless you remove the entire stock circuit and switch to a thermostatically controlled setup, that being said, if you do it this way and do it RIGHT, i can't see any way it would...

My transmission oil was sitting for years, it was nasty, I let it drain FULLY, poured a little bit of old (but still new in bottle) cheap gear oil to 'rinse' some of the old crap out, let it drain some more, and then fill it with the MT90 and you're good There is no filter in our M/T's
