I AM LOOKING TO GET WORK EMOTIONS CR'S 18x8.5 FRONT 18X9.5 IN THE REAR I WANT TO KNOW WHAT OFFSETS WOULD BE BEST FIT 235/40/18'S UP FRONT AND 275/35/18 MAYBE 285/3518 IF I PULL MY FENDER A LITTLE. MY FENDERS ARE CURRENTLY ROLLED FLAT ALL THE WAY AROUND. THE 18X9.5'S COME IN +38,+30,+20, & +12 OFFSETS AND THE 18X8.5'S COME IN +38, & +32 OFFSETS. I WOULD LOVE TO RUN THE 18X9.5 FRONT AND 18X10.5 REARS BUT THE 18X10.5'S ONLY COME IN +23 OFFSET AND I DON'T REALLY WANT TO PULL MY FENDERS LIKE AND INCH OR MORE.

+38 in the rear and +32 in the front should work well

After reading this thread until my eyes got woggly... and finally receiving some helpful feedback... then making several additional calculations and considerations, I am about to pull the trigger on:

17x9 +30 FR/RR mated to 255/45/17 all around (current rubber) with possibly wider rear later, but 265/275 max intent.

On a modestly dropped setup with desire to remain NOT TOO flush and NOT TOO radical while maintaining good sidewall and decent meat for road feel and wheel-well fill, I think this will work reasonably well.

Any major "nay-sayers" out there? (I feel 17x9.5 +15 is just too much for my objectives, and the former should suffice to meet need.)

What does the peanut gallery think about this? :biglaugh:

What info are you looking for? Internet research indicates that they are discontinued.

I've just purchased a set of Drag, DR38, 17x9, 38 off set, with BF Goodrich g-force Sport Comp 2 in a 255, 40 aspect ratio. All I needed to do was set the wheel stops to use them for my DD. They tuck under the front fender like it was designed for these wheels. The BFG's have round shoulders on the side wall. So, I don't see too much difference with your choice; You may need to pull the fender out, depending on the tire sidewall design...

Van,

Thank you for the very specific reference for feedback. I will follow-up with photos when I finally make the move. That post was helpful.

Well one of the things I care very little about is wheel fitment etc., but tomorrow I'm getting a set of RPF1s in 18x9.5 +45 and 18x10 +38, 255/35 and 265/35. Helpin' him out so he has money for his wedding. Anyways, I guess I'll see how well they fit

If you ever wonder how it will look with Evo VII Wheels:

Enkei 17x8 +35 235/45 all around.

Here's my post from my build thread: For the cost of a new set (of tires), I got a lightly used set already mounted on these RPF1s! Didnt think the pics would upload this big...might need to fix that..

These have roughly 1 month of driving on them. I got them from a local guy who is friends with all my car friends around here and has been around forever; needed the money to pay for his friend's flights to his wedding. 18x9.5 +38 front, 18x10 +45 rear, 255/35 and 265/35

And after an hour and a half of applying elbow grease and little else:

Original Enkei sticker even. They all look this clean!

Anybody have opinions/suggestions on fitment? Yes I know they were trendy, and theyre falling out of popularity; I dont care. Theyre extremely light, they were inexpensive, and theyre in impeccable shape. Havent put them on the Supra yet
