this one's new to me...

I thought TT-R's had the same rims as MA70s..?

unless you have the GA70 base rims..

No I did some research on my wheels when I found out what I had and those were specific to the TTR in japan. The main thing about them is that they are 16X7.5 in front and 16X8.5 in the back. I have actually seem some on one older lexus here in the U.S. but it has the Lexus logo on it instead of the Toyota one like mine. Not one hundred percent sure, but I don't think the sawblades came on any JDM versions of the supra in japan. Dont remember ever seeing any anyways. Most had the stock 5 spokes like the MKIV, or some aftermarket. Also, just remembered, the stock momo steering wheel from the TTR.

How much did all of that set you back? If you don't mind me asking.

Sawblades were the same as over here, the Turbo-A even had black saws.

if the rims are like this..

93806031990202-480.jpg

then those are the ones my mom had on her GS, and are 7.5 inches wide, of course in Japan, they came with Toyota center caps, so it may be possible they were switched..

only Supra rims that i can recall that are 16x7.5 in the front and 16x8.5 in the rear are NA MKIV rims, pictured here on a MKIII

as for shits and giggles, here's a MKIV on MKIII rims...

That's incorrect. TT-R's had 5 spokes 16x7 +44 in gunmetal. All jdm 91-93 5 spokes were +44mm offset. USDM 91-92 5 spokes were +37. Japan got sawblades and ugly base model wheels on the ga70.

$180.00 + $18.00 shipping from Champion Toyota for the 2 hole lip.
I think I got the brake ducts for $90.00 + shipping (from Austrailia $80.00)

So all told with shipping about $368.00.
Too damn much but I LIKE IT!!!!

First, TTR's could not have possibly come with sawblades for the sole fact that they were only produced for the years 91-92, 1990 was the last year sawblades came on the supra, 91-92 came with five spokes. Second I will retract my comment about my seven spokes (which is what your mom rocked on her GS) being special to the TTR. I remember reading somewhere that the TTR did come with the 7 spoke alloy, but can not find the reference for that so until then consider this my admittance to being wrong on that. Now about the size, I will have pics for yall with in the next week of my rims and will show you the stamped sizes on the inside indicating 16X7.5 for the front and 16X8.5 for the rear.

Youre right and wrong.

American goes buy the model year of the car not the production date. While Japan goes by the production date. Therefore say you have a Supra built in Aug of 1990. It would be considered a 1991 Model in the States but in Japan its still considered a 1990 model due to the production date.

JZA70's went into production in April of 1990, (and they all got 5 spokes 16x7 +44mm offset) The TT-R got the same wheels only in Gunmetal.
Technically for Japan August 1990 was the end for the sawblades. Some models still got them.

I just went through all the Japanese Brochures and Accesory catalogs and theres nothing about some special 16x7.5 7 spoke rims. Im sorry you need to check your info cause im pretty sure that its not factory.

I got the brake ducts right here on the boards. You missed it bro. I have been looking for over a year myself.
Nice looking 2 hole lip you have there.

Did you ever use the St. May's Air Dam?

What's up Jeff -

Hadn't installed it yet. I badly need to add pics of that Jewel to this thread too. Like you told me when you sold it to me, it's a HELLAB RARE MKIII part and an extremely nice peice. I will have Walker @ http://www.mpfab.com/ fab me up an inlet pipe and work some other majic that will get it all to fit.

Whos that?
Im pretty sure HPF sells them..

Negative - HPF May have the lip, but they do not have the ducts. No new ducts anywhere from the research I did.
Part numbers do not even come up with any dealer.

I got the last 2 hole in the states (per Jeff @ Champion Toyota) but he still can have them shipped from across the pond.
