deposits in the head cooling chamber

hiya, OEM & some pattern composite hedgaskets have copper rings round the coolant passageways.. I'm guessing (total theory) that the headgasket had gone on the exhaust side on the motor that head was on, and it was then sat for quite a while, probably with poor coolant as well. I've seen the...

    Wheelnuts...

LOL I am in the UK :) On the south coast.. Oh and i don't think missing one wheel nut will cause any problems, unless he's been off-roading it.. the hub centre takes most of the force.. and i don't know anyone who's bent a sawblade unless in a crash, or it's been dropped out of an airplane...

    high powered NA!

Hi, Apologies for any confusion. Dyno tested it was proven catted models were considerably down in power vs pre-cat models. Whilst both were 'offically' rated at the 200 bhp, the output to the wheels was considerably different.. Again this might be a UK thing as i suspect you guys never got a...

    high powered NA!

A question guys... in the UK the GE is rated at 200hp in pre-cat models (1989 ish) . With cats it drops to 185hp. Both figures at the crank. Removing the cat is one of the first mods done typically over here to gain the missing 15hp.. So am i guessing correctly that US models are actually...

    Need help ASAP!

Hiya, Checked mine and it's connected to a connector block from the gearbox. There are two round connectors and a 4-way clear plug that all connect to wiring from the 'box. There is a 6-way plug there as well that doesn't connect to anything and just dangles.. (these are on a UK n/a but i...

    hello

Hola, LOL well, my n/a is definitely slower than the T out on the big roads, but i prefer the W58 box round town.. They are both great to drive, just with different character. Besides, the n/a is scheduled for an upgrade or two this season :naughty: And hey Finnon! :wavey: Cheers, Bryan

    Group A's group a rebuild

lol will see if anyone has a diff kicking about with the cooler :) As far as i know it's just like a little heat exchanger, with one end in the oil and the other out in atmosphere.. sure someone called it a cooling tower at one point.. Assuming the diff cases are the same worldwide and have a...
