Well I'm really iffy about going single because of the police attention. Here in Victoria Australia they will pretty much defect your car for just about anything that's not factory if you drive an import.

If I knew how to weld I'd have a cracker at fabbing my own Single would be nice but I haven't decided what path to take worth my Supra, so just trying to milk the twins

I've got a an R154 from a JZA70 and a 3.737:1 diff from a 7MGTE How does one go about changing the speedometer gears in the transmission? Where do I purchase the correct gears?

Yes the cable is hooked up, checked it yesterday when I did the de pin trick. Is there a way to check that it actuates off the vehicle?

Hi Guys, Ok ever since I did my 1J swap on my Supra I never installed the cruise control unit untill a few days ago. The car is a 1986.5 MA70 which had a 7M-GE manual with W58 and now has a 1JZ-GTE from a 1990 JZA70 Here's my original thread on sfau...

might be a good idea to rebuild it but what's happening here doesn't show that the LSD has failed. LSD is not a locked diff, it has limited slip. If one wheel is in a pothole and not getting any traction at all, there's nothing for it to limit and behaves like an open diff.

actually, there is a company that does, and the best part is that it is modified for racing use.. :D who where and is it RHD?

I'm assuming they're an american company and have the rack and pinion assemblies for LHD cars? I'm in Australia and have a 1JZ converted MA70 which is RHD

Hey Guys, I'm just hoping that on the off chance there's a way to fit the MKIV steering rack on the MKIII. Mines busted and needs a reco someone is selling one that's already been reco'd off a MKIV. Any advice appreciated. Cheers, Benjamin

cool thanks, yeah be pretty interesting to see how high these can go. I want to go the high flow route for stealth seeing as the road laws in victoria, Australia are quite harsh on modifications but fear it won't be enough power

the 7M-GE tach works by changing three resistors. Wish I could see a pic of the Ga70 tach and compare the component layout on the pcb

Hey Forum, I'm interested in purchasing a GA70 dash cluster with the 9k tacho. Although it peoples responses seem hit and miss whether it's plug and play or not. The tacho will be from a 1G-GTE and will apparently just work, but I've seen threads of people struggling to get it to work bot...

Well this is interesting. After some advice, I've now wired it up the ECU EMB I/J CH-1 and 4 to #1 INJ ECU EMB I/J CH-3 and 5 to #2 INJ ECU EMB I/J CH-2 and 6 to #3 INJ ECU and it won't start now. It turns then dies almost straight away Also I don't get why my interaction light is always lit...
