    7M-GE Intake?

No... with the lag and undampened airflow it probably makes things a tiny bit worse. The amount of difference here is very small, do keep that in mind.

    Interior Electrical Problems

A voltmeter isn't going to tell you a thing about the battery's ability to hold a charge, it's ability to supply power under a load, it's ability to take a charge and so on... Just take it to a parts store and have them run a full diag on it. Some places do it for free some charge $10-$20...

    Interior Electrical Problems

It is possible your battery is toast. Take it in and have it fully tested.

Column Switch Work With Specific Steering Wheels?

Edge: You're describing a blown dimmer. Nothing in common with Kyle's issue. Kyle, have you tried tearing apart the column and cleaning all the switches? It sounds like the contacts might just be dirty as hell. EDIT., whoops, mixed the names up.

Rough idle, smells like its running rich

Does the TPS need to be replaced or just calibrated? The detail on calibrating it are in the TSRM.

    7M-GE Intake?

Yes... althought the amount of lag will vary from one setup to the next. The time this mainly occurs is when revving up from idle and other hard accelerations. The thing is when the reservoir is pulled from the intake also has to refill that space... in the end it's all averaged out, so it...

    7M-GE Intake?

I've read a lot about intake resonators, they also tend to do double duty as a buffer for the intake system. This isn't always the case, it depends on the volume of the canister. The way it works is that on more restrictive systems, such as intake plumbing which follows a restrictive metering...

    7M-GE Intake?

I'm using a modified intake kit for a "96-00 Honda Civic CX/DX/LX Cold Intake System 97 98 R" (this is a much larger kit than the single pipe version) paired up to a 3.5" LS-1 MAF. My air filter is also under the headlight.

Along with the fuses check the fusible links (in the box by the battery), that much reverse current could definitely fry those.

    ball joints

My front left ball joint is going out. It's not bad enough (yet) that it moves more than several milimeters, but when that little amount of slop affects the wheels alignment the shift while in motion can be massive. When I drive on the highway if the groove or rut in the pavement changes it can...

    no heat

I'm not sure if the interior sensor would cause the CC blow cold if the CC is set to 85º, but it's possible. There are two sensors by the way, driver's side foot well and passenger side dash vent. An easy way of checking if it's the CC's reaction (if you know the sensors work) is to hold a...

    ball joints

Yes, balljoint can either wear out or completely breakdown. To check if it's the ball joints, pull off the wheel, hold the tie rod still and try to move the bottom and top of the knucle in and out. You'll either see the bushings aren't holding the upper control arm in place or the control arm...

    strut bar...

I'd be takin a real serious look at you TB if you have to ask this. Even before I bypassed the coolant lines to mine it never got so hot that I'd worry about anything melting on it (the vacuum lines would go first by the way).

Ball joints or bushings... Is this the front or rear wheel? Is the movement at the top or the bottom or both?

    no heat

When you bypassed the VSV did the diaphram which actuates the control valve move? There are a couple possibilities, Diaphram, control valve, OR the interior temp sensor is telling the CC that the interior is much hotter than 85 in which case it's blowing cold to try to cool the interior off (I...

MAFT Pro - N/A install - Translator Mode

Whoa.... :evil2: Okay, I got everything up and running today... see "fully installed". I took the car for a brief "spirited drive". Wow. The responsiveness is great! This beats the living hell out of all those little tweaks that are oh so tauted among the N/A crowd. Keep in mind that...

Yep, looking good. Hindsight it should have been a walk in the park... a writeup would've come in handy.... I guess thaty's my job now. :biglaugh: The best part... I didn't break anything!!! BTW - I was thinking it might be a good idea to reset the ECU once I have this completely...

    Engine Start then stall

No apologies.... I'm learning everyday... Hell, I just made installing a MAFT Pro on a N/A look like the world's worst undertaking... hindsight, it wasn't that bad, just the delay in finding out which wire I mixed up made it tiresome. PM me if you need help. You'll also need a feeler gauge.

MAFT Pro - N/A install - Translator Mode

Damn Bob, you're a god! I really can't wait to get this setup finalized and drive it around a bit. Just throttling it up in the parking garage at work it seemed quite different... It could just be the fact that I've been driving on a fairly beaten up AFM. Regardless it should be a vast improvement.
