You're hitting fuel cut? You may just be at the limit for the stock injectors. Someone with a little more experience with tuning a upgraded CT with stock fuel could probably say for sure.
It can take a while depending on how you've set things up. If the gain's too low it may take a few moments for it to get in the ballpark. If your PTT/WOT AFR is a ways off from your base tune it can take a few moments. If your gain is too high it may bounce all over the place and possibly not...
Oh, and by the way... I'm not running a resonator either... never got around to putting it back on when I switched out my plumbing for my S/D setup.... like I said, minor lose, not a huge horrible thing.
My filter's not in the engine bay though... that's the biggy.
Wade, yes, building a box...
We're not talking about pipe or pipe diameter or ICs here AT ALL. Stay on topic or bug off... And no, the stock IC piping isn't the best option where power is concerned... but we don't just remove it either, do we? :icon_razz
As for heat, next time you go for a drive, pull over and check just...
Be great if everyone used parts which were made specifically built for this car. ;)
My Koyo's only got a slot drilled in the plug, not petcock built in... get's VERY messy while you're opening it.
No problem, and it sounds like you know where to look for the source of the trouble.
I updated my post a little too, in case you didn't see. If you want to know more about how the systems vary check this out:

Uh.... hello?
You've got a diagnostic error code stored for the VAF and you're thinking your rings are making you run rich? Sorry, but, do you know what an air flow meter does.
EDIT: Testing procedures are here:

Lol.... uh, let's go with the shorter list... is there anything that's actually getting power?
Get the battery tested and test the fusible link in the engine bay fuse box (on older models it just looks like a burnt chunk of wire... it's supposed to look like a thick, insulated wire).
If...
Did you Google it?
Yup, turbo muffler is a term that was coined because of how well a turbo smooths and quiets exhaust noise. Sorry guys, though the term exists, most states very specifically state that a turbo/turbo muffler does not constitute a muffler and is therefore no substitute. ;)
Stethoscope's ROCK!!! And if you keep them VERY clean you may be able to convince your partner that "it's close" enough and let you play doctor. Just remember, motor oil is NOT a good lubricant in all situations.
Is that vacuum while you're running lean? Then, yeah, there should be a difference than when you're running well.
Vf isn't terribly helpful (for that specific purpose) if you're tuning without the O2 sensor. Pretty much the only time it'll change from being close to zero in that situation is...
Well, personally, I'd run either the Walbro or a Toyota pump... it'd depend on which one I could get a better deal on and also on the mods I've got planned for down the road.
You sure the timing is mechanically correct too? What the timing light says isn't all there is to it... just in case you don't already know that.
Hear any hissing from it? A crack large enough to pass air in the injector washer can allow a lot of unaccounted for air into the cylinder... not...
There are types of intake silencers which do impose a restriction. These don't. Additionally, they're turned for a certain frequency. At that frequency they help remove oscillations in the incoming airflow.... you know it's like turbulence. Unfortunately, removing that oscillation or reducing it...
Check for error codes, then, if there are none I have two questions. Does the starter make any noise when you turn the key? Have you set off or removed the stock alarm system?
Error Codes:

I'm going to start hunting down and killing people who make these threads...
Ditching the accordion hose = minor win
Removing the intake resonator = minor lose
Installing air filter in such a way that it pulls air from the engine bay = MAJOR lose
Yet another one of these threads = I vote BAN
