oh... good thing that clutch was getting tossed in the garbage then.
i went out and bought an alignment tool for 3 bucks. too bad i didnt know this before-hand.
haha.
heres mine with my bbs wheels. i have yet to see any supra's with bbs's although im new here so i could be entirely wrong.
car needs lowering really badly.
17X9 ALL AROUND ET28 (offset) powdered coated.
kind of wish i'd known that before i took it off. cause we just yanked it out the "normal" way. hope i didnt hurt anything.
heres a courtesy pic of the car after finishing and getting my new bbs's on as well.
figured i'd put the clutch on the input shaft of the tranny to make it easier to get on.
got that thing in there in a matter of 10 minutes. compared to before when we were just spinning our wheels getting no-where.
worked out very nicely. the access holes on the sides of the tranny allow...
well thats a good thing you've never been hounded. you would have to keep your license and everything seperate. thats where i went wrong is i got a utah DL so that i could try and get in state tuition faster. it backfired cause now i dont have my corolla anymore. haha. oh well. the supra will be...
te72- i totally forgot you werent even in the same state. haha woops. yeah that sounds like a good spot. we could even meet in downtown slc to make your drive a little shorter.
yeah i guess blue smoke is ticket-able. i took the car in to tune-ex and paid them to do a 40 point inspection and...
doug--- the registration thing is basically why i got rid of my corolla. i kept it in AZ where they are a godsend when it comes to registration. 30 bucks for 2 years and no tests or checks of any kind. hahaha. i got pulled over here in utah and they gave me two tickets. one for blue smoke (my...
ok since my car is about to be up and running ill be needing to get safety and emissions done. i will need a cat though, in order to pass. does anyone in this area have a stock exhaust i could borrow and get tested for a day.
its a 7mgte.
thanks.
craig.
ah man. i think they looks awesome. i love the front ends of them. actually the 2 doors i love the whole thing. the interior is one thing i would like to have new.
my clutch should be in this week and then my tranny will go back in. we should start a monthly meet up.
i still need to get my car...
and i just found a kid on drift utah that also has as mkiii. not sure if anyone on here knows him though.
rebuilt the engine for boost. 7 rib bottom end 4agze pistons, oil squirters etc.....
built a stainless steel turbo manifold. and mild steel downpipe.
super quick ghetto hookup for...
dang this sucks. so looks like i should go to the junkyard and practice on some junk car for a while.
then start looking for a good donor car. or get brand new. $500 is steep though.
has anybody ever replaced the window trim on a mkiii.
my supra has jacked up trim all around. from the rear hatch to the windshield and everywhere in between. i figure the best place to get it is the dealership unless i want used and still 20 year old trim.
anyways. are there any tricks...
OMG. you are completely understating this FACT. utah has by far the worst drivers i've ever encountered. and i've lived in a lot of different places from military.
anyhow, im also in provo and own a supra. although im pretty new to the supra world.
i had an 85 corolla gts that i sold after...
i also think that i was looking at another turbo. i think maybe td05 18g rather than td06 20g.
i would just drill new holes in this one.
looks like its got plenty of room.
