yes from what i found they did come on the evo.
if its the one im thinking of they have a funky lookin...
haha. yeah broke is right.
i have been on a mad dash to sell old parts in the garage to raise funds to get the supra on the road. had this thing for a month and havent even driven it yet. so sad.
how much oil pressure is being pumped through the turbo from the 7m oil pump.
kind of sounds like there a flaw somewhere else if everyone is blowing so many turbo's.
also on another note. i know a big 16g doesnt bolt up but the numbers sound like they may
be comparable to stock. yes? no?
i am scrapping the entire clutch that was in there. i bought (new to me) used clutch. it was out of a running car. it is a spec stage 2.
i have a flywheel out of the junkyard. just got it. it will be getting machined soon.
so pretty much just the used pp from the spec setup that i bought...
oh the flywheel is cracked beyond repair. i brought it into the machine shop to see if they could take out the cracks or weld them up and then machine it, but they cannot. the guy also said he's seen a lot of flywheels, and a lot of bad ones at that and that this was one of the worst he's ever...
that sucks. just cause it overheated once the head gaskets are trash one these. is that just if its an oem 20 year old head gasket or do the newly replaced metal ones also fall under this blanket mkiii problem.
i would say if your radiator cap was spitting you should try and replace that first. good indication that its not sealing and thus its letting coolant out and your coolant gets so low that you overheat.
cheapest route, replace the radiator cap (refill the radiator and res). then if that doesnt...
im not vastly familiar with the 7m but on the 4a the afm has a relay that turns on the fuel pump. so if the afm was unplugged car dies. and it wont start either. which afm and or ecu do you have.
sorry i didnt read page 2.
ok so i have a used spec stage 2 plate and disc. the disc looks warn to the point that i dont really want to put it back in and have to take it all back out a few miles down the road.
so im looking at buying an ACT disc and keeping my spec plate. does anyone see a problem with this. i am...
i unhooked my idle control valve on my corolla and it idled at like 3k. super annoying.
but if you are running a totally different throttle body and it has some sort of idle control on it maybe you'll be fine.
has anyone done an actual LPH flow test on one of those cdm pumps.
This is why I like to stick to Toyota or other vehicle manufacturers parts
they may not be 255 but still aome are an upgrade and they last like 3
times longer. And you know what you are getting.
Like my old impreza... I put...
so im brand spankin new to 7mgte world.
i didnt know 7m's ran regular plug wires and coil on plug.
or am i getting something wrong here. this is crazy.
i have a tig welder although i've never used it. hahah. its just sitting there. too cold in utah to even take the garbage out. i hate this place.
but anyways, i saw one where the guy actually did exactly what i want to do. he just blocked off the old hole and cut and welded for the new.
