My goodness those are bright. If they do what they're supposed to though, all the better! I recall back in 2008, I spent a few hours adjusting the brake pedal arm to be better for heel / toe operation, and to light up the brakes as soon as I possibly could, to give people behind the most warning possible.

Ironically, years later I got rear ended in a Miata, by someone who pulled up to the light behind me, stopped, then decided to go, right into me, when he noticed the turn lane people were getting their turn... damn people and their phones!

I’m mostly happy that there is a very clear difference between the running lights and the brake lights. Most LED bulbs I find are just low/hi power and the difference isn’t very distinct. These the middle lights up and it’s about twice as bright as the halo running lights
