the only way to break a axle(besides extreme power) is for the boot to be torn and run out of greese long enough for the bearings to over heat for long enough and snap. and any car that is.(unless its shitty manufacture design)
have you checked the pad thickness? ive worn out pads(high speed stops) in way less than a year. does the pedal sink to the floor(doesnt sound like it)?
grinding only happens when pads wear out. if the abs actuator goes out(the part that actually makes a brake system abs) all that will...
like 2.25-2.5in. turbos dont want back pressure. by keeping the stock exhaust from turbo back your wasting your time. the entire complete stock exhaust is crap any way you put it.
