thats what i was taking about(so i tought i was typing- agreeing with you.) but a flywheel can only take so much machining.
my flywheel is about done if i ever go threw another clutch as i would guess that its about 2-3 finger nails thick( wish i measured it) and even my machinist said holy...
^lol(personal pref on this whole tread) i think the red looks 10X better with matching molding but i hate the color red in general. and every mk3 for that i think the car looks better with color matching moldings. again this is personal preference as for every owner as only the eyes of the...
^ lol. if i had the money i would right now. there awesome.
do you not like it? just curious on why you would sell it. my guess is its not loud enough. my friends told me all they hear is the woosh(not like a bov woosh the the turbo flwoing air sound- not whining) sound which i know is...
the pressure plate mount location to clutch surface on the flywheel has direct action on how the clutch will hold.(if you can get that-my brain is losing my thoughts as i type sorry).
think of it this way: the more you machine of the clutch surface the less tension you have from the pressure...
you could also search on acura forums for some used head lights(with high beam projectors) with the ballasts and power supply(throwing a memory loss for terms.)
my car has like 06 tsx high beam projectors that are 5k(highest usable light) that are glued into stock(unsure- my friends don't think...
^yes and no. kinda completely depends on the owner/driver and how well it was taken care of or how much it was beat on.
what you said tho has a lot to do with it.
i ahve a greddy sp and love it. looks awesome and it sounds awesome. i ahve a ref sticker for cali that was measured in at 93dcb. its a quiet low rumble and sounds awesome when you get on it. only thing is there hard to find as there discontinued. i would get the tanabe hyper medalion(again...
i have a 57trim and have no creep.. well a lil in the sorta high rpms(high for me) like 4500-5k but it only creeps like 1-2 psi. this is on a stock gauge tho but it has never gone past 8.(i have 1 washer on). and before the washer i only hit 8 a couple of times when it was like 35*f out.
take a piece of the hard piping and get a flange welded on and and stick it in with the stock piping. stock piping isn't that restrictive for stock power. the exhaust is a huge restriction.
your fine. when i replaced my clutch+ tranny had the fly machined and boy is that sucker worn out. the clutch surface is just barley above the mounting surface. no probs witha 57 trim at 7-8 psi so far with about maybe 5k miles( i dont race or red line). that was with stock disc and a reman pp.
heads are the same. exhaust cams are the same. intake cams are different. using the shims in the same location might work but best bet would be to check the clearances.
for the cps you need to rotate it slightly counter clockwise and then it will slip in as its not straight tooth gears.
