the glowshift gauge should have the same wire running to the ecu so it should be fine for replacement. and it obviously is for engine codes IE low oil/oil pressure
might have found my problem, I think I got an outdated short shifter:

seems like someone else had this issue and had to grind down the sides I was talking about removing..
well a 20 year old car suddenly using it's fuel pump at full capacity ALOT more, won't take long it burn it out. So fuel pumps are more of a reliability thing. I know I don't feel safe running 16 lbs of boost until I put my new pump in.
well I had a quick look at it again, I believe my issue is with the pins in the top of the housing, the stock shifter has two slots for it slide down by the pins but with the aftermarket shifter it has 1 pin in the top part that mounts and when you tighten it into the housing it pushes into the...
hmm well that could be it, but thats odd my stock shifter works fine and just the short shifter has issues. but that would make sense if he got a motor/tranny from a soarer instead of for a supra. I wonder how much a housing will be.
will I definately have a MKIII shifter housing but I think...
yeah that things a must if you have a 7M. but goodluck, I'd like to do racing like that but you need everything perfect on your car just to keep it cool enough to run it for that long.
Well I believe my problem may be in the previous owner, he told me he swapped in a new 1jz but I believe it may of got a new r154 as well. The shifter housing doesn't seem to be far enough back in the tunnel. When I put my short shifter in this was clear. my stock shifter did work but it's also...
I like the gundam win collection, I tried to collect oldschool DBZ characters but everytime I got one another one would go missing... I guess when your a kid it's hard to keep cool shit just laying around. Now I collect parts for my jdm ttr haha. But I do have a oldschool muscle car diecast mini...
well even though it sounds like a bad idea for weight distribution, javissupra does make them, and with the OEM window it wouldn't make a terrible much of a difference.
should of went flat blue, be a little more original =p or throw stripes on it that are blue (won't be rice with a v8) But I always thought flat colour with a quick coat of clear looked awesome. But nice project, i remember when I got my first supra (87 targa turbo auto burgandy) another burgandy...
if you had an auto and now you have a manual it will rev differently which means you're probably hitting fuel cut from boost. try running it at 10lbs if it still hits boostcut then you need more fuel pressure(AFPR?). MBC are notorious for creep.
