pretty sure maft pro eliminates the need for a piggy back, sounds like the tuner didn't know what they were doing. I'd look around for more information because I don't see a stand-alone being worse then a piggy-back ever.
well I recently had the buckets out of my twin turbo R refurbished but I noticed the headrest for the driver(right hand seat) does not adjust, it has the notches but their not clicking in, is their an easy fix or should I of addressed this while they were apart. It's not the end of the world but...
FFIM should only mean you need a different coupler to attach it or you can cut your piping for the right angle.. either way you can always call and tell them and they can pre-bend it for you.
well half the work was done if it was converted to 1jz already. not to mention everyone wants more ponies. I can't wait to see this finished though it's fucking bad-ass. I also like the look of 'em and the originality.
crazy, I always thought shit like that happened when people drove to into curbs. I have konigs and put them under a lot of stress and they seem to hold up, even curb rashed the fuck out of them once before. Although I love the look of work wheels with deep dishes, mine are decent but nothing crazy.
that was a really clean car, but I like how the engine bay looks, btw nice manitoba plates good to see other canadians doing nice builds. You basically rebuilt this thing for the drag strip instead of the street then?
you should have them wired to ignition never to battery, this will cause it to constantly draw power. Also if their thermostatically controlled, they should only come on when your thermostat tells them too. But if it was wired to your battery not ignition on a hot day your fans could turn on for...
Just curious if you need a 4" IC the 3" fits a hell of a lot nicer and is good for something like 650hp not to mention you don't need to relocate your horns and overflow, and if you do it's simply flipping the bracket around rather then finding a new resevoir to relocate to your engine bay.
it could also mean a dead short, the connectors that came with my mishimimoto fans were weak I ended up breaking one off after I crimped it while I was installing my intercooler. It might be better for you to buy a thermostat and have them thermostatically controlled instead of on ignition...
dang thats too bad, it was looking like a nice car, well you got 6-9 months left... why not throw it together atleast first :P but family comes first, I think you only need 9 more posts and you can part it out on this forum.
cool, so is this black pre 89 your new ride? was the old car really that far from completion? I'm sure if you just made a list you could of had it all together with a couple months cracked down. but i know what you mean, I have a jdm mercedes that needs a whole new front clip and it's been...
It's not so much the weight, it's easy to reduce, it's the steering angle. I was curious how he did without coilovers I think I asked him on SF. People with modified knuckles and a different steering rack were quite successful. Infact one member on here placed 1st in his class.
well he definately defended himself, seems like it was more his employees then him self and he even offered a fix but the guy took his car to the competition thats a big kick in the ass. basically saying f**k you for all the work you've done when he offered to fix it a third time properly and...
