no way, that is a sick spoiler, probably why he doesnt want to sell it, keep the value and rarity up. This summer I will pay a ridiculous ammount for a carbon fibre one that would be so badass. I'm guessing i would lose my rear l.e.d. though.
and yes it sounds like I'm ricing out my car but...
definately no shortage of parts, alot of people quiting on their builds and selling a lot of aftermarket parts. I picked up a lot of rare/uncommon stuff the past year. and although websites change their is others opening.
boo just go 1jz/2jz and it will still work :p
actually I didn't read anywhere what you were going to put into it, 7m I assume? or maybe a lucky candidate for a 1uz? it's a clean car, I'd go v8 and turbo :P
clean car, good start, you have mechanical experience I take it? definately hope it has wideband o2 sensor and an AFPR if your going to mess around with the a/f ratio's.
el chupa cabra, I don't think anyone really gets it, I was going to put it on my window as a joke because theirs so many people with "M3 killer" or "v8 eater" rolling around. but I hate to be stereotyped the way I stereotype everyone else baha.
oh and this thread is actually LOL funny...
if it worked fine before, you change anything recently? it could very well be worn out, could get a MBC to troubleshoot and see if it's something else.
Front facing intake manifold, your doing it wrong :P
great car, I wish I was OCD about my engine bay. If I ever pull my motor I'll clean it up a little more under the hood.
hahah I like how this goes from a thread flaming me to ragging on honda owners. but I definately agree general honda and mustang owners seem to think their 4 banger or v8 is like the only production motor made to street race. They may have the most produced bolt-ons but I would take a stock...
walbro 255lph is just re-assurance your getting the fuel you need, supras are 20 years old stock fuel pumps wear out easy. their is a couple other options but this is pretty straight forward, their is also bosch 044 and denso from mk4 as your options but you best research them first I;m not sure...
yeah I get what your saying, but lowing the fuel pressure below what it came stock and then turning up the boost is just as bad as turning the fuel pressure higher then what car needs.
Basically set your fuel pressure back to factory, I think it's around 37. and whoever tuned the afc obviously...
I noticed they don't update their site, someone told me they sell the CF front lip spoilers there, couldn't find nothing but if you call then they pretty much can make anything on the site in CF it just costs more.
well if you get a wideband o2 sensor you can tell exactly what your a/f ratio's are and you'll know what you need to be at. IMO 31 is low for running 15 lbs of boost. I'm looking to get an AFPR to turn my fuel pressure up to 40 for running more boost. and with the 550's you have your going to be...
sounds like his waste gate is opening up at what its set for and he needs the proper vacuum to make it hold for higher boost. he's no where near fuel cut. my guess is their should be a vacuum line from your BOV to the controller.
nice car btw
