    My Car vs Cuda 440

Yes, it was quite intimidating. Heart racing...got a little jittery... It was a smile in the end though. :)

    My Car vs Cuda 440

Yep, seeing your money at work is always nice. This car was sweet. I'd only seen it two other times so it's not on the road often. It was decked. Gauges everwhere, shift light, some sort of slap shifter, cams, the works... I'm sure it would've likely been a different outcome had we...

    My Car vs Cuda 440

I'm coming back from the video store tonight when this SWEEEEEET Cuda pulls out in front of me. I could hear the rumble over my stereo. He turns right at the light and wouldn't you know that's the direction I was going.... ;) He eases out and stays in the right lane. I figure this thing...

    F1 Clutch Never again

Here's another one that won't recommend an F1 Clutch. Mine was a scam. It was a supposed Stage 2 and when I unboxed it, it was OBVOUSLY spray painted blue. There was overspray in spots. I installed mine and did a proper 500 mile break in. My second pull after the 500 mile break in, it...

BHG possible with no temp increase?

Did you perform the compression check per the TSRM? EGR removal increases the chance of detonation which leads to BHG. Improperly prepped head and block surfaces with an MHG can lead to BHG symptoms. Blue smoke is burning oil and likely not related to a BHG. Does it smoke after an in...

    Happy Birthday Dunckel!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Dunckel! Hope it was a good one! Take care man! :)

    Install advise.

You can search different build threads and get a feel for what goes where and how to do things. The TSRM is also a great source. It is easier to leave the tranny attached for removal and install. Is the wiring harness in the car or out? If it's in, just leave it in. If the harness is...

    Calling the East Siders!

Yeah, Dunckel...it would just be nice to see you again. Maybe McCay and Tim could make it too. What ever happened with his car? What happened with YOUR car?

    detonation or anomaly

It almost looks like you would've been going down hill; but, your RPM's stay constant. It looks like a sudden loss of data/input because it starts to recover. I doubt detonation. Could it be a loose connection...did you use wire taps for the install?

    What's the 'User 1' input?

    My poor car.

It is somewhat difficult to tell without seeing a good pic of the top; but, this one looks like it will require modification. I'm running a Koyo. I picked it up for $360.00 shipped. If you can, adding a little money will put you in the market for a good rad. *Not to say that the others...

    My poor car.

DO NOT TRY TO FIX IT WITH STOP LEAK!!! That being said, if you can't afford a high dollar rad at the moment, get an oem style. And don't be tempted by those aluminum rads on ebay (JVT comes to mind) because they'll require modification in order for them to fit.

    In a bind

I didn't mean to offend WesPatt. I just wanted to make sure that any readers that don't know the proper process wouldn't be mis-informed. The BHG subject has been WELL covered around these parts! ;)

    In a bind

I don't meant to bust your chops here WesPatt; but, this isn't the best advice. There's more to prepping for a MHG than making sure the head isn't warped/damaged and all the old gasket material is adequately removed. Each manufacturer of MHG's has a minimum RA spec that must be met in...

how much hp can i make on bpu with vpc gcc evc

It is very violent. You get slammed forward and the check engine light comes on. It recovers fairly quickly. After you experience it, you'll need a new set of underwear! ;)
