the water housing (dont know correct term) that attaches to the block/head below the thermostat housing seems to be the area and the coolant lines running along the head under the mani have rubber elbows on them in that area... my bets on those rubber elbows ;)
considering you have the injector in a cup measuring flow (not likely) then yes. 20yrs + X miles, stock 440's can be sketchy at best...
If the ecu is free, try it, i still think your going to be tracing a wiring or injector issue man...
sp61's make it in the boost range with supporting modswith more easily. If i redid my setup id pick a similar turbo with BB (money permitting) that allowed me that whp in mind at a lower boost... 18psi is (to me) pushing it on pump with out meth on a stock ecu with a piggy back
Bigger turbo...
jdub hit it i think. Difficult wiring once in the cabin.
Mine runs along the trans (drivers side, sensor in the test pipe) up the intake mani side with some other wires and into the firewall next to the brake booster.
Ken= id put the cheap wire loom wrap (autozone) on the wire and run it up the firewall along the brake lines (abs system in mind) and see if the wire loom melts or deforms then id run it over the trans or under it if needed.... I guess the different dp we run have different clearances to the...
Check the hoses that run around the block under the manifold and the thermostat elbow along with the coolant elbow (metal one that attaches to the block/head under the thermostat) gasket/sealant as well. Cant think of much else in that area that has coolant unless your ISC and TB still have...
future reference, spell out your words (im not the best with grammar either) as the guys that KNOW whats going on will be more likely to respond ;)
sounds like your leak is going to be one of those issues only you can decide on, hope its the wp and gasket
^ agreed 100%, considering most aftermarket gauges sensor are $75+ a pop, id put it downstream. Mine is in the test pipe, you just have to make sure your exhaust has not leaks at any connections before the sensor to have accurate readings
ecu, wiring (my money is on the wiring) and the injector, bust out the multimeter and check for continuity. id send ALL the injectors out to be tested, cleaned and rebuilt (rc comes to mind) as well. small small price considering the cost of a rebuild ;)
cash flow permitting you could...
never ran anything but eibachs with tokico illuminas (sp?). The ride is sporty, hard on bad streets with TEMS fully hard and soft and smooth with it on normal when cruising down the highway.
You rims and tires will have an affect on this as well, not just the springs (along with condition...
