if the ecu isnt getting power, neither will the safc.

check the harness for continuity by unplugging the ecu and putting a multimeter lead on the ecu side and then the plug side.

more fp to a point will richen af ratio levels, however you can quickly climb out of the pumps range of operation if you set it to high and add boost to it. Your 1:1 afpr should increase fuel pressure for every psi of boost OVER what your base setting is...
