More pressure from a stronger pump and more pressure due to higher viscosity fluid are two COMPLETELY different things.
The benefits you are thinking of by having a high pressure system WILL NEVER be realized by simply running a high visc oil. That is not raising your system pressure as a...
Sounds like the pump seal is bad and it needs a new pump. I'm pretty sure I'm in the same boat. My pump has 320k miles and is 20 yrs old so no surprise there...

To the op, the trimmed ct26 turbos offer a slight power increase at a very affordable and convenient package if you plan on a small upgrade over stock.
And if safeway offered the level of service on non-safeway branded items the way suprasport does business with their non ss items, safeway...
They didn't complain because the system works as it should, lol. I think you are insisting that more oil pressure is needed and you're inferring the Toyota engineers that specd the system didn't know what they were doing.
MORE PRESSURE IS NOT NECESSARILY GOOD. pressure is a measure of...
My stock gauge has shown nearly 0 psi on both engines I've had in the car. Both engines were/are in great shape. I'd definitely consult a known good, mechanical test gauge before worrying too much.
Stock gauge is not suitable for diagnosing any true engine problems, imo
Edit, just read about...
If they are a machine shop, they shouldn't sell other branded items. They present themselves as a definite retailer and not just a machine shop or fabricator.
I'm not knocking any of the lipp products, I'm knocking their ability to run an online business selling and shipping items...
Everytime somebody even says suprasport, I shudder. :nono:
There's a Damn good reason they aren't a vendor here...

Plain working shocks will likely be a world of difference. Literally any brand will be better than a horribly blown oem shock.

I just wouldn't buy one. Same reason I won't go out and find the cheapest tire that is acceptable for the Supra. Same reason I won't seek out the cheapest battery that will start my car. Same reason I won't get the cheapest intercooler available. I just dont like buying the cheapest option...
I got an HTC thunderbolt for Verizon and I've been liking it. It does have some downsides though...
1: Battery life is every bit as horrible as you may have heard. It wouldn't last past 6pm for me without charging mid-day. I have an extended battery now, which actually makes the phone easier to...
Well I fixed my issue, but the timing light still doesn't make sense.
Anybody know why it would flash anywhere on the vicinity of the dizzy?

Yep, I went with Competition Clutch stage 2.
It's held up fantastic so far. Minimum chatter (only really notice it in reverse or creeping up hills in parking lots) and it feels strong. so far 12,000 miles and 7-10 psi consistently and it still feels new. I'm a happy customer. FUll face design...
Just did a second compression test. #4 has 40 psi. Wtf.
Damn thus truck, Haha.
How could I have 40 psi on a rebuilt pressure tested head and a new gasket on a cylinder that had full compression prior to the year down?
Argh!

Efficiency is good enough. I don't have a good gauge so couldn't tell you exactly. It's huge and aluminum and appears to be well made so is think its efficient.
Mcevans, for 200, stick with stock style or bump your budget to 300 and get an aluminum.

Hey all.
SO my Toyota truck (91) is running like complete crap. I hate driving a car not up to par and I'm determined to set it straight.
I wanted to use my timing light to check for ignition on each cylinder. I thought this was a neat idea. Just clamp the light to each wire and make sure...
