it's near pointless to buy another USED MKIII diff.....they're all 15+ yrs old and probably are fried. your best (and most cost effective) bet is to rebuild your diff....parts are <$200 depending on condition....

the problem is that the JZA70 torsen is a T-1 (i.e. the first rev. of the torsen diff...), they don't like shock loading. very unfortunate because there's no comparison in the way the torsen drives (for MY...
eh, doesn't really count. the gtech's 60' measurement and MPH measurement are off.....though the ET is dang close. i ran the gtech @ the strip many times a few yrs back....
as i already told you, you MUST use the '87 engine wiring harness. the only thing you'll have to swap is a few sensors from the '87 engine to the '90 engine due to different plugs.
