have you talked to the driveshaft shop in troy (can't remember the name now...)? they should be able to make you a shaft for the price of those quotes...
@ TDC nonetheless.
k- realize the inj. are fired by the ECU grounding them. so, you should be checking continuity to ground when cranking....then again, chances are your meter is NOT fast enough to catch the injection pulse.
totally depends on your power level.
i got rid of my 4.30 years ago because i was tired of lighting up the tires @ 80MPH rolling into boost. sure it's cool and all, but really no fun and rather scary....
not sure where you heard that the 4.30 is "so good"....remember that everything that you read on the internet isn't necessarily true.
diff ratio choice is purely based on your needs. what are you going to do? drag race? road race? daily driver? those choices should dictate what diff you...
launch RPM totally depends on your setup + tires. try out different settings and see what works best.
if you're concerned about driveline stress, don't drag race.
what's the problem? the pins are pushing back? just push them all the way forward on the connector and then put a drop of super on them to hold them in place....
there are a few install pages on it. you'll need 2 tach adaptors. make sure you buy a newer one as MSD modified them to work w/the 7M.
BTW- gl spooling that turbo....hopefully you're running a pretty decent shot of N2O.
heh. get a standalone.
that aside, there is really only 1 option for a 2 step- the MSD DIS-4. the phil long 2 step from the MKIV won't work. though you could try some sort of random cut-off of Igt or something.....perhaps the MAFT pro might do this in the future....
