    nearly dead on. happens when you yank the neg. terminal too. think of the battery as the "load" for the alternator....remove it and voltage spikes WAY up and then the regulator steps in. sure, all OEMs test for it (heck, that's what I DO), but did the mfg of your sweet radio test for it...

    Car is acting funny...

    the first thing to do is bypass the MAFT pro and then see how the car works. i'm guessing there's something up w/the timing monitor set up....sounds like troubles w/the CPS output. EDIT: O2 sensor cannot cause this level of problems. eliminating it will only throw you onto the "pig rich" fuel...

    you are confused: all 7M-GTEs have low imp. inj. <'88 GEs have low imp. inj. '90+ GEs have high imp. inj.

    sure you can slap in high imp. injectors and pull the resistor....but why? do it right the first time....if you're afraid of cutting and soldering wires, you shouldn't be attempting to "modify" your car...

    no. the only "drop-in" ones are high impedance. stock are low impedance. the drivers are meant for low impedance. yup, do it right or do it twice. eh? any WB will do....some are better than others. i sell innovate WB products... depends on your goals, decide on WHERE you want to be and...

    it's impossible to say what you'd run the 1/4. typically you'll pick up a lot of time in the 2nd 1/8th. find a real strip and find out....

    my quickest stock turbo run: my fastest stock turbo run (though i think i trapped over 106 @ some point?): i should note that those were on street tires, IIRC 275 kumho supras. also, those were practice/dial in runs, so please ignore the RT. ;)

    among other things. the MAFT pro offers things neither of your other 2 combos offer: REAL timing monitor, ability to control timing (w/applicable harness), closed loop AFR tracking w/a WB and boost control, should you desire. not to mention more support and it is user upgradeable.
