yeah, i guess it's funny....more sad than anything. kids these days are so lazy- "what? a link? i have to CLICK it?!?! forget it."
you can lead a horse to water....
eh, not sure what they changed about the SSQV....the latest on HK$' site looks the same....here's a better shot of the piping:
i run the different insert in the SSQV as well. together the two sound nearly like the BOV sound in GT2.
thanks, i find that SS lines/fittings simplify maintenance...
yup, it will be 2 fold-
-the BOV may be open @ idle
-the BOV may leak under high boost
personally, i don't think the tial is for the masses....it's more of a "racing" BOV. it's big/dumb/slowness is why i run the SSQV in addition to the tial....
werd. it is complex....far more than "you can bump up timing to make it run better".
don't forget the MAFT pro can read and adjust timing....the only device out there for the 7M AFAIK.
and for clarification, that's an OBD2 compliant ECU. which was never offered for the MKIII.
heh. cars always run better just before they blow up. advancing the timing is fine @ low boost levels and low power levels. but as you go up in boost level, you need to REDUCE timing (especially on pump gas) to prevent detonation.
don't forget that AFM scaling messes w/timing as well....i.e...
all clutch related parts match the transmission. i.e. the only common part is the clutch disc. if you're swapping to the W58, you'll have to swap all kinds of stuff.
