not sure why you'd do this. there is a bit of flex in teflon line....so you'd be adding a bit of squish to the clutch line. just get a short piece of braid for the stock rubber line....
on the stock ECU, your only way to "tune" is via AFM scaling. remember timing is also calculated based off of mass-flow. so your fuel "tuning" is resulting in a timing change, this timing change is especially responsible for the large gains sometimes seen by "leaning it out" (less airflow = MORE...
i disagree.
an AFPR is a very useful tool- think of it as a global AFR scalar. use it to get you close, then use an AFM scaling device to fine tune. the less AFM correction you make, the better.
honestly, w/those sort of mods, it's time to go standalone. you've drastically changed the VE of your engine, the ECU's fuel/timing maps are marginally close @ best.
that said, the only problem w/elevated FP is pump flow- it goes DOWN w/press. get a good fuel press gauge in cabin and keep an...
bwhwhahahahahaha!
i guess?
then again, how many people have trouble tuning in general? how many people will post if they are having NO problems vs. how many people post when they are having problems?
98% of the "problems" you read of are user based.
excellent work, but i disagree w/some statements.
don't use ebay filters, they suck. buy a cheapo kit, use the adaptor and throw out the filter. get a k&n sized to fit.
you might as well get rid of the intake resonator too, you get that cool NA honking/growl.
ummm, no.
you will NEVER lose...
yeah, back when i was digging into it, i read about all the stuff that the ECU wouldn't work w/o the trans....i then talked to a couple of aussie guys that said that was complete crap- just jumper the neutral start switch and you're off. take it FWIW as i never verified this myself....
