nope. it's mostly to prevent freeze up in frigid conditions. as for the coolant passage coming out of the head there, i plugged it.

my wife is a dentist, so i get a never ending supply of latex or nitrile gloves. i prefer latex for the feel... but for the times when i do get dirty, i use zep TKO soap. it's hard to find, but it's fantastic.

EIDS is for idle stabilzation on BOV dump. the light comes on when it's active....see the manual on HK$' site.

innovate LC-1 + XD-16. beware of some of the cheaper WBs, they lack the flexibility and user calibration that some of the "higher end" models.

battle creek, eh? not too far away... it sounds like you're talkin about some of the knock gauges out there that use GM sensors. there's nothing wrong w/the stock sensors, other than age.

that sums it up. as w/all additives, they do exactly that- rely on testimonials, etc. tek- really want to justifiy the stuff you're pushing? get some true testing done. unfortunately, you'll probably be depressed w/the results....

good point, but as with most that just slap in the lex/550, they're probably running more rich than the ECU can deal with....

if you're blowing high on HC, then that's due to the lack o'tune....get a WB, get a tuning device, satisfiy Vf and WOT and live happy.

my old brown car would get high 20s all day long on the freeway....cruising 80ish.
